On Saturday 5th September the UK’s largest restaurant, Zaza Bazaar suffered a fire. Whilst there were no injuries there was considerable damage to the inside of the restaurant.
As a large business, it is vital that Zaza Bazaar is up and running as soon as possible serving customers so that downtime is minimised. As Re-production recently completed the install for Zaza Bar we were called upon to help get the restaurant back on its feet.
The Re-production team were on site the very next day after the fire to assess the damage. The fire had not burned the entire floor of the restaurant however many of the vital cables running several hundred meters through the building had been completely damaged. Several speakers had also been melted by the heat of the blaze. As sprinklers were deployed all previously installed equipment had to be checked for water damage.
Despite the extensive damage caused we were able to have the music system running and working better than ever within several days, we speedily replaced large runs of fire-damaged cable as well as several of the zone wall panels and zone controller. Several speakers were also needed replacing which we sourced and installed immediately.
Turbosound impact speakers and cloud zoner mixers, wall panels and amplifiers were installed to match the pre-existing system.
As this work was completed well within schedule the restaurant was able to reopen and accept customers quickly minimising lost revenue. The quick and efficient response of Re-production once again helped another local business.
