Zaza Bar is part of one of Bristol's most prominent restaurants. As a long-term AV supplier for Zaza Bar, we were delighted to be chosen to provide a permanent AV solution.
Zaza bar has regular evening entertainment through live bands, acoustic performances and DJs. The bar needed a discrete, reliable, powerful audio system that could be easily operated by trained bar staff.
An essential requirement was that Zaza could still use the stage area for seating during the day. As a bar first and venue second floor space is a high priority for the venue.
Re-Production designed an easy-to-use active Yamaha PA system. Our custom rigging blends the PA seamlessly into the industrial setting. With controls and a 12-channel mixing desk hidden behind the bar, the live PA system can be patched into by a visiting band or easily integrated into the 12-speaker background audio system also installed by Re-Production.
Re-Production designed and built a brand new staging platform.
The platform featured a solid step and hand-made wooden railings to make it safe for the public to use during the day.
The platform was made entirely from reclaimed scaffolding boards stained to match the existing wooden features, making the staging elegant and eco-friendly.
The lighting was designed to be an architectural feature and disco lighting during the night.
We installed a custom-made 16-piece light bulb installation from vintage effect bulbs. These, coupled with dimmer packs and a custom-designed controller, made a seamless change from day to night.
