In collaboration with Jackanory Re-Production was tasked with transforming the grounds of Kin house into a futuristic electric garden. With a focus on low-power energy-efficient fixtures, we were able to power the entire installation from the Ioniq 5's powerful battery.
In collaboration with Lighthauss Studio, we designed and installed a series of LED arches. These low-powered custom-built LED tubes ran from a single 12V power source and could be customised to any colour. Purpose-built wooden frames in the garden and house led the guests through the estate mimicing the design of the Ioniq 5's LEDs.
IP-rated outdoor lighting
Once through the light arches the guests arrived in the quad. The brief from the client was to turn it into an electric garden, showcasing the power of the new Ioniq 5's batteries.
We used 48 ip rated parcans, 4 IP-rated profiles and 24 ip rated battery uplighters that operated in rain and shine keeping the electric garden lit throughout the week. The profile lights allowed us to light the new Ioniq 5 showcasing the brand-new vehicle and lighting it perfectly for the photo opportunities.
Custom LED Tubes
After the electric garden, the guests sat down for a three-course dinner. We provided an immersive LED chandelier above the dinner table, with over 3000 pixels and 32 tubes the chandelier was programmed to gently pulse as the guests enjoyed their meal. Completely pixel mappable the tubes used the exact colour palette used by Hyundai vehicles keeping the dinner on brand.
For the finale, we programmed and designed an immersive laser show complete with a soundtrack. The show consisted of two of our 15W lasers, 8 x IP-rated strobes and 2 IP-rated profiles. All controlled and triggered from a single cue the pre-programmed show worked perfectly every single night. Again using the palettes of the car design the laser show kept to the brand guidelines.
